Summary

PKR has a ton of small buy-in tournaments and also plenty of satellites to the bigger PKR tourneys and live events.  The biggest weekly tournament at PKR is the $100,000 PKR masters.  PKR also has many promotions that stem from tournaments including bust-out bounties on PKR pro’s, or many tournament series with leader boards.

Traffic

PKR has over 1200 players at the cash game tables during peak hours.  The traffic is mostly no limit hold’em, but there is also some Omaha to be found.

Software

As mentioned in the overview, PKR’s software is what sets it apart from the other poker rooms online.  The 3D software is really remarkable, but you have to check it out to see for yourself.  You create your own player and you can dress them and teach them chip trick, etc.  PKR has all the fun of a video game, with all the intensity of an online poker room.
